Computer unresponsive after bootup

Hello all, yst i was playing fortnite on my windows 10 and i alt tabbed then the game hanged. so i force rebooted the pc. Then Windows took longer than usual to boot with it saying it was scanning and repairing hard disk C. After it booted, the pc hangs after i click any desktop icon with the cursor going in circles.

The keyboard was also unresponsive when i tried to ctrl alt del to see ram/cpu usage to check if it was a hardware issue.

So idk whats the problem here if my ssd has failed?

Fyi, i just built this pc 1 mth ago and everything worked fine . Also, i have force rebooted around 5 times so far cus alt tabbing hangs my fortnite when loading .

So you are saying the pc is not responding at all accept for the boot up screen?

yeah, the only thing i can do is move the cursor around after the bootup.

If you could use a usb setup box and then use Testdisk,this may help.

Hello, i have since used my usb installation media tool to do a system restore. it is working fine now. i have scanned my hard disks and conputer and there was nothing wrong. Have no idea what went wrong that made my computer unresponsive.
