I decided to transport my Gaming PC to another room and upon connecting everything in the right ports, I noticed my monitor isn’t automatically turning on like it’s always done before when my PC turns on. My monitor fails to find my PC’s signal, I’ve tried all the standard procedures of: Searching for faulty cables, swapping cables, shutting off my pc for 30+ sec, shutting off and disconnecting my pc for 30+ sec, shutting off my monitor AND pc for 30+ sec, cleaning the ram, and trying another monitor/tv.
Any help?
Please provide information about your computer, this includes is it a custom build or brand name such as Dell or HP, if it is provide the model name or series number (not serial) if a custom build post the brand and model name or number for the MB, add on video card if one is used, how much RAM and the PSU (power supply unit) providing these details will enable us to better assist you.
To add to the above, have you connected the monitor to the correct video port, that is make sure you have not connected it to the onboard video port if it has a separate video card.
