    Missing Hard Disc Drive.

I recently bought an old HP Z210 Workstation (Xeon E3 1270, 3.4Ghz, 8Gb RAM, 128Gb SSD, 2TB HDD, Quadro 2000). The 2TB drive doesn’t show up under Computer/Drives, only the SSD. However the 2Tb HDD is listed under device manager and shows as working properly.
(As an iMac user for 15 or so years, this reminds me why I went with mac in the first place. However, software availability/functionality and lack of hardware upgradeability are forcing the shift.)
Any advice or suggestion greatly appreciated.
    Cheers

      Hi Gus,
Windows 7. I found another post which helped solve the issue. Any tips on moving files/folders from ssd to hdd.

Windows inbuilt file manager, or any of the zillion third party ones will copy or move files between drives easily, or if you wish you could use a file sync application to do it.

As you had asked the question about the missing drive would you care to share the solution you found as it may help others?

          The solution I found:
Start Menu - (Windows button) -
Type: Disk Management - Enter -
A new window opens “Disk Management”. The top half of window listed the various disks/drives and their details. The lower section had clickable dialogue boxes. Disk 0: was already partitioned: 100MB ‘System Reserved’. The next partition was unallocated - double clicking oped a window that allowed me to give it a location (F:\ in this case) (as I had usb’s plugged in) D was missing for some reason. But F worked and gave it a name ‘HDD’ (creative , I know). Apply. OK. Now it shows up and ready for use.
