[Help Needed] Custom PC starts then stops immediately after.
Hello forums,
Code:
I recently put together this custom PC and when I attempt to start the computer, the fans run and then stop immediate after. I’ve checked the RAM and I also have taken out the battery and waited, then put it back to its place, nothing seems to be working unfortunately. I would really love some help so I can get this guy on the road!
It may be shorting out somewhere on the mobo,(standoffs, mobo touching the case..etc. You could do a cardboard test, this would mean you would have to take the parts out and re-assemble them on a piece of cardboard and power the parts up. After that you may be able to tell if it is a short or one of the pieces of hardware is faulty.

I found the problem, my switch on the PSU was set to 115 so I decided I switch the setting to 230 and it turned on smooth!
It appears that this issue is resolved, therefore I am closing the topic. If that is not the case and you need or wish to continue with this topic, please send me or any staff member a Personal Message (PM) that you would like this topic re-opened.
