    Hi guys,
I recently bought an MSI GTX1050TI. I have all the latest driver updates and games still run at around 1-20 frames per second. Please help.
    Thanks!!

    CPU: i7 4770S 3.1Ghz
    GPU: Nvidia GTX 1050Ti

What games are you playing and at what settings? Are you using GeForce Experience to optimize the detail settings?

        Hello Pokesquid,

Have you checked the temperature of your CPU and GPU when playing games ?

You can do so using HWMonitor. HWMonitor can be downloaded here - HWMONITOR | Softwares | CPUID

        Some other questions -

What PSU does your computer have?

Was this a problem before getting the 1050ti? (assuming this was an upgrade)

Have you recently installed any software or updates recently?

When I was downloading games, it said that my CPU was at 87C and my GPU was at 32C.
          What is a PSU?
Before the 1050ti, I had to use integrated graphics from Intel.
I only installed the most recent drivers from Nvidia.

            Hi pokesquid.

Your CPU is overheating when the temperature is this high when you not even playing a game. You will need to open your computer’s case and take out the CPU cooler and re-apply thermal paste on the CPU and ensure that the CPU fan is in working order when you power up the computer again.
            What is a PSU?
            PSU = Power Supply Unit.

Its the device that powers all of your components on your system. If you look on the power supply it will tell you what the maximum output in watts is and we will need to know that information.

Your PSU wattage is adequate for the computer build but I would re-apply thermal paste to the CPU and ensure the CPU fan is working properly. What manufacturer made the PSU though?

I ran rainbow six siege on medium.
I also posted the GPU usage using MSI Afterburner

Please download Hardware Monitor and let me know what the temperatures show when you play a game.

Your CPU is thermal throttling. It suggests the cooler is either not seated correctly or the cooling fan is not working. Can you find the CPU cooler fan spinning? If yes then you need to check the cooler is fully locked down. If everything looks ok then contact the store
