I just had a look at my Z170 Board. Look for a small button Top Right hand side of Mobo.
Has CMOS next to the button. That’s the one you press to clear CMOS.
If the LED is blinking it’s possible you have bad power or a short somewhere. Bad connection.
Try one Ram stick, as well.
PS. Very Late here. Someone else may be able to help you.

Have you tried one stick of RAM to rule out bad RAM? That could be a very likely culprit.

If you’re running Windows 10, it has a built-in memory scan tool to scan your RAM.

[ul]
[li]Click Start, type mdsched.exe in the Search box, and then press Enter.[/li][li]Choose whether to restart the computer and run the tool immediately or schedule the tool to run at the next restart.[/li][li]Windows Memory Diagnostics runs automatically after the computer restarts and performs a standard memory test automatically. If you want to perform fewer or more tests, press F1, use the Up and Down arrow keys to set the Test Mix as Basic, Standard, or Extended, and then press F10 to apply the desired settings and resume testing.[/li][li]When testing is completed, the computer restarts automatically. You’ll see the test results when you log on.[/li][/ul]
