I’m not sure what cable I need to connect this cable and also is it suppose to connect to the mobo or the psu and where?

No this cable is connected to the two front panel fans

The cable connector shown in pictures 3, 4, and 5 is a molex adapter. Would suggest you need an adapter cable to run from your modular power supply (pic 2) to the molex connector. They would normally come with the PSU.

The psu shown in pic 2 is a modular/semi modular unit that would have come with connector leads to connect to a molex connector. If you no longer have them perhaps there is a spare sata power connector you could get a converter for to molex?

Yes that is a spare sata power connector, now you need a sata to molex adapter.
