as I see it there are only 3 options, get a smaller card, get a bigger case, chop that panel out.
the last option is really only thrown in there for logical completeness - it’ll be the ugliest option, involving sawing, chopping and grinding.
you’d get filings everywhere, the components would need removing from the case beforehand and it’ll look just like a 12yo kid took to your case with tin snips. plus if you ever needed to put extra drives in, you’re blocking the potential avenue down the track.
time for a new case if it was me.Comment

Hi Jordan.
Unless your current case has removable drive bays that will allow you to install a longer video card, then I agree with Bruce with those three options to consider.
The options for buying a bigger case, or getting a smaller form factor video card are the easiest options, as trying to cut off that bar with a saw blade or thick wire cutters will look sloppy and take a much longer period of time to deal with.
Which option do you think you would like to look at going forward to solve the issue? I would get a larger case if I was in your position as I could use the upgraded case to upgrade other existing hardware components in the system anyway.Comment

Really, unless you don’t mind chopping up part of your case and are handy with equipment for the job, i’d get a new case. they’re not the most expensive to get.Comment
