      Hello lopuxxl,

      Can you post the brand and model name or number of your power supply for us if you will.

          600W sounds great not having any information label on the PSU suggests that it is not a good brand, this means that it is most unlikely to be able to produce anywhere 600W or the required amps on the +12V so cannot be guaranteed to be 100% safe for use with your hardware, do what you can to try and find the info for us, if you bought it online, post the link etc, meanwhile;

          Download then run Speccy (free) and post the resultant url for us, details here, this will provide us with information about your computer hardware + any software that you have installed that may explain the present issue/s.

              My apologies lopuxxl for some reason I either missed or did not receive notification of your reply #6

              Only thing that I am seeing in Speccy is the fact that you have multiple AV programs installed, this is a recipe for disaster, the programs will conflict as they fight for resources and this will not only slow down your computer but can ultimately leave you with no AV protection at all,

              If your Avast or MBAM AV protection paid for products, please make a note of their product key numbers and then uninstall them using the tools here and here once done, allow Windows Defender to check for updates, do a full scan of the computer then post back with an update for us.

              Antivirus
              Avast Antivirus
              Antivirus: Disabled
              Virus Signature Database: Up to date
              Windows Defender
              Antivirus: Disabled
              Virus Signature Database: Up to date
              Malwarebytes
              Antivirus: Enabled
              Virus Signature Database: Up to date
              .
