Msi b350 not recognizing r5 1500x

I bought a msi b350 pc mate and r5 1500x from amazon a while ago. I built the pc and the mobo didnt recognise the cpu, I thought the cpu was faulty and sent it back.
I got the new cpu and had the same problem, so I the mobo socket must be faulty so i sent it back and got a msi b350 arctic tomahawk.
I thought that must work, but it didn’t. I tried everything (one stick of ram, no gpu, no ram) the cpu is getting power and all fans are working, the fans keep running and nothing happens.
I think it might be the bios but i don’t know what to do
Any help would be appreciated (sorry for any spelling errors I am on my phone)

Please explain what you mean by the mobo didnt recognise the CPU and what exactly happened.

We will need a full list of your other hardware, the brand and model name or number of the power supply, video card and the RAM (including the amount).
