GTX 970 Crashes randomly / No video output; PC keeps running

So this happened first to me shortly after I got my GTX 970 before I upgraded to Windows 10. I thought “maybe its old drivers blah blah”. Well, i wiped everything and set up Windows 10 and everything worked just fine until now. The game I was playing is PLAYERUNKNOWNBATTLEGROUNDS (PUBG) and suddenly, as described in the title, my Graphics Card crashed. No Video output, but everything kept running so it’s not a faulty CPU. After that, I logged the sensors with GPU-Z and got another crash. I Auto-Overclocked my CPU in the BIOS if this helps.
My previous research didn’t help me at all.

The Log should be attached to the post.
    I hope you can help.

    Thanks

Hi Feri. Welcome to PCHF forums
What size PSU are you using?
Can you give us the 12v rail readings in the Bios?
      Thanks.
What version of Windows 10 are you using?

        Hello folks

Please take expanded screenshots and only use the method below to attach them.

Download Speedfan from here and install it. Once it’s installed, run the program and post here the information it shows. The information I want you to post is the stuff that is circled in the example picture I have attached.

If you are running on a vista machine, please go to where you installed the program and run the program as administrator.

(this is a screenshot from a vista machine)

Download then run HWMonitor and post a screenshot so that we have a comparison to the Speedfan results, details from here

        To capture and post a screenshot;

Click on the ALT key + PRT SCR key..its on the top row..right hand side..now click on start…all programs…accessories…paint…left click in the white area …press CTRL + V…click on file…click on save…save it to your desktop…name it something related to the screen your capturing… BE SURE TO SAVE IT AS A .JPG …otherwise it may be to big to upload… Click on the Upload a File tab then after typing in any response you have… click on Post Reply like you normally would.

Screenshot instructions are provided to assist those that may read this topic but are not yet aware of the “how to”.

Here are the readings. I don’t know why System and AUXTIN1-3 are so hot. I assume those sensors aren’t even connected
            edit
The GPU presumably is that hot because I played some games just before I took the screenshot.

Have you checked all your fans,to make sure they are working?

The fans of the graphics card are definitely running. Though I have to admit I don’t have the best fan setup in my case, but I didn’t have any heat related forced PC shutdowns or bluescreen.

As per my reply #9 Feri, will wait on your update as it would not be appropriate to comment without first having the relevant information (y)

                              Update:
I now consistently get crashes in the game “Sniper Elite 4” on the lowest, as well as on the highest settings in DX11 and DX12 mode. The temperatures never rise over 65°C.
If I knew how I would be happy to log everything going through the GPU to see where the issue is because this seems like a Software problem to me. In general, the card crashes most often at demanding games; League of Legends (not very graphics heavy) did not crash the card a single time.
