Does Overclocking require a Overclocking program or BIOs settings to run?
I’m asking this because I’m getting a 1050Ti Overclocked, and I don’t know if it goes to Overclocking automatically or with manual input.
So, if I get this out of the box and set it up, can I expect it to run normally with no overclocking?
It is possible to squeeze a bit more performance from that card but not much, worth a read is the EVGA Precision XOC info here the better the spec of card the more OC options.

Your card already comes factory overclocked when you buy it so you won’t need to overclock it more. Most video cards come overclocked compared to the reference card so when you play a game, the video card will be using the overclocked boost clocks that are already programmed into the core and memory clocks automatically with no input on your part.
And do I need to connect the Six-pin to the power supply to safely overclock it?
If your video card as a 6-pin power connector then you will need to connect that connector to the 6-pin connector on your power supply in order for the video card to work properly.
Yep, you were right. Just one question. On ultra settings in Overwatch I’m getting around 60-65 Cels. for my CPU. And the card can handle up to 97 Cels. according to Nvidia’s site, should I turn it down just to be safe?
You can turn down the in-game settings if you want faster performance but if the computer is stable while Overwatch is running then you don’t need to change anything.
Do you have any other questions, or would you consider this thread resolved?
If you have one monitor, then you only use one display output. Use the DVI OR HDMI port for your display output. Do not connect your video card to both outputs.
