I have defective monitor? GB2488HSU. Can i count for perfect monitor?

Hi. My monitor is GB2488HSU IIyama. Sometimes i can see on screen weird little spot,screens:

Not my screens,but the same.

When i am close to monitor it looks like smudge. Screen:

But. When i go away few meters to rest in bed it looks like this:

But this doesnt look like bad pixel. More like smudge or something. Also this doesnt appear always. Sometimes is visible,sometimes not. Any ideas?
Also why sometimes i can see this and sometimes not? Any explanation?* **
Somebody said that i have defective hardware. So exchange my monitor?
Also actually is my 3rd day without that thing on screen. This will maybe not appear again or maybe yes?

Hi sew333, Welcome to PCHF!

I would continue to use the monitor for another week or two and see if the smudges or the pixel distortion gets any worse. If it does then I would look at replacing the monitor.

Hi again. So its my 4 day without that “thing” on screen. So dont rma monitor ? Maybe it not dissapear again?

Like I said, if it happens again, then you can consider RMA’ing the monitor but until you can verify that its an ongoing issue just wait and see.
