    HDD might be failing? Not sure what the CrystalDiskInfo results mean.

    Ok, so when I had an issue with my external HDD I came here and got it fixed up, they suggested I get it checked out to see if it was failing. So I got CrystalDiskInfo and ran it, turns out my external is fine, but my main drive, C:, has Caution.

    Im not entirely sure what that means, I dont see anything explaining it. Here is the copied bit. Do I need to look into replacing my HDD, or is this a fixable thing?

    Hi

    This means the hard drive is failing :cautious:, I’d get a new hard drive the same size or bigger and clone your old drive to the new one, Very important to backup your data first as soon as you can.

    you can use Clonezilla β€œ-rescue” option or another program

      As above if you haven’t already done so make sure you make a disc image including all partitions. Two great free disc image apps are Macrium Free HERE and Aomei Backupper HERE:slight_smile:

      And both apps can help you migrate to another hard drive..
