Hold off on buying a 1TB hard drive!
The BIOS on the computer says 2003 - 2006. I’m not sure how old the computer is but if it is 10 years old, it may not be able to recognize a 1TB drive because of the motherboard limitations.
What size hard drive is in it?
e520, not tested for Windows 10, meaning Dell has no drivers
http://www.dell.com/support/home/us/...n-e520/drivers
There is also no manual for it and the site says manuals not available for products older than 7 years.
This came with a 160GB hard drive.
e521 not tested for Windows 10, meaning Dell has no drivers (last revised in 2007)

this came with a 320GB hard drive.
