    Bios

    My old Gateway is having an issue every now again.. Got a blue screen saying i may need to disable the memory cache,but in this bio setup in Phoenix-Award Workstation there is no listing (memory cache) .

    Can you upload the .dmp file please. Also, what machine do you have? Have you looked for bios update for the machine?

      That may take a while,as it is being used just for streaming and i use a remote keyboard to run it. Right i have it on my work table with no internet. Gateway AMD64 Athlon x 2 Model GT5426E

        Not finding a Bios update for the machine, some are saying that is not one for this particular model, it would be a great help if you had the .dmp file for sure though.

          Hand over those logs On a more serious note, if you’re getting a CACHE_MANAGER BSOD, that immediately points to bad RAM or faulty drivers.

            Working on it..been busy this afternoon/evening..I tried the disabling the cpu internal cache..got a marked improvement in speed,but the thing BSOD again…Having to do some rigging to get internet to it..so hopefully the logs are coming soon.

              If it has USB why not transfer the logs that way?

                  Ok did a memory check= ok and did a driver flush using DDU and then ran another av/malware scan…typical stuff + one trojan= bit coin miner must have just been on since the last scan. Running it to test for the next 2 hours since my issues are when streaming.. Also just using windows graphic drivers,since win7 drivers and Nvidia drivers don’t like each other.
