Hi,
Using my PC today and it suddenly started running very slowly. It was very lethargic and programs would take a few seconds to start and webpages would continually load. I rebooted the PC and things were fine for a short while before they began to slow down again. I had a look at the Task Manager and there is a ‘antimalware service executable’ that appears to be taking up a lot of memory, but I am unable to stop it. Also, I am unable to reset my PC, when I select ‘restart’ my PC just shuts down. I’m concerned that changes I made to my PC settings to stop ‘antimalware service executable’ from running in the background are not working as my PC will not reset.
Any ideas?
Anyones help is greatly appriciated.
Cheers,
Ginger-Overlord
