    No access to open a Twitter account.

    I am using a laptop with win7. I cannot access the Twitter site at all using my normal Google Chrome setup. Tried everything that I can think of and no good at all. Then I tried the Twitter site using ‘incognito google’ and was able to enter and set up an account with Twitter using another gmail account…OK. But I have to transfer from my normal google …go incognito then I can sign in all over again using email address and password every time to look at Twitter. I cannot make a shortcut to Twitter on my normal google. What can Twitter not like about my ‘normal’ google account ?

      try clearing the Chrome cache.
      next, try and create another PC login account and try that.
      or, in Chrome, create another user profile, or even use Guest, and see if that helps.
      have you tried another Browser, like Firefox, Edge or Opera?

          Thank’s for that Bruce, I had already tried all your suggestions but not yet tried firefox. I am concerned that with a different browser I might lose the google that I have got used to. Could I save a link with firefox and have it on my google tool bar heading ?

          Just a bit of my PC history…Having got ‘tangled up’ trying everything to access Twitter one of the rejections on the sign up panel was something like that my email address was already on their books so I couldn’t use it again but I or my wife who had this laptop before me, was never interested in Twitter so how that can be I don’t know. Thanks for your help Bruce.

                  Thanks Mal’ I’ve just done that but can’t find the clean and repair button. it did the scan and came up with a list (all ticked) but then a button was highlighted saying quarantine ? It said that this was a new version…maybe different?

                              OK. Got files on log and double click and they say they are in notebook but just opening 1 file is a page full of spaghetti, is that what you want to look at. They will fill pages.

                                      Just found that my system is 64 bit but I’m getting concerned that I’m not upto this…dont want to spoil what I’ve already got !
