Interestingly, the consistent framerate drop is all but absent when playing offline, I discovered today.

Sorry to all future people who may be looking for a way to solve a similar problem, but the wait was just too long and I needed the computer to run properly. Today I reset Windows and all problems have stopped, so jmarket I guess the thread can be closed, and thanks for the help anyways.
