My laptop probably has a virus, but I can't find it

Hello. Over 3 years ago, I got new laptop. But around one year into using it, it would sometimes freeze when doing bit more demanding tasks, and during that time, I also installed Minecraft on it, and played it a bunch for around a year. However, it started getting slighty worse, and with slowly new issues starting to appear, I slowly played Minecraft less and less, playing simpler games instead and also spend more time on my phone playing games and watching YouTube.

I really want to fix this very irritating problem, and also i’m not 100% sure that it’s a virus, since I tried Avast and Malwarebytes (rootkit removal kit). I also have McAfee preinstalled and it wants me to buy full version, it doesn’t count. Anyway, here are the issues:

-randomly falls asleep while using it
-randomly loses signal from out Wi-Fi and I have to reconnect (checked it and it’s not issue with WiFi itself)
-when playing Minecraft fullscreen (on Java Edition), taskbar/explorer process is prone to freezing, causing Minecraft to get minimalized. Also can happen with little to no freezing
-when trying to log back in after waking up laptop from sleep, Login button sometimes takes while to show up
-in bedrock version (crossplay with mobile and console players) of Minecraft, keyboard sometimes stops responding
-Chrome sometimes visually freezes, but you can still interact with it (kinda)
-when battery gets below 20%, it starts dying FASTER than normal

Not sure if it’s virus or something else, but it worries (and especially ANNOYS) me a lot. Also my first post here, do I don’t know if I can edit this post after posting it. Now bye and I read comments daily

When the PC randomly falls asleep is this while in use or after not being used for X amount of minutes?
      Same question with WiFi.
Check the power settings for sleep & ensure they’re longer than 1 minute.

It falls asleep randomly from time to time when using it, but I have set it to never fall asleep both when plugged-in and unplugged. I still have set screen to turn off after 15 minutes when not using it while it’s plugged in, and 10 minutes when unplugged. And when Wi-Fi loses access to internet, it’s on my laptop, but not our family computer (which is always connected to our Wi-Fi with ethernet cable, just that you know)

I forgot to mention what laptop I use. Here is it:
          Model: ASUS Vivobook Max X541NA
          RAM: 4 GB
          Storage: 1 TB HDD (almost)
CPU: Intel Pentium N4200 (4 cores, 1.1 GHz per core)
          GPU: Intel HD 505 (integrated)
Got it December 24, 2017 for X-mas, also had issue with F1 key popping out of my laptop, but I fixed it.

To find the virus, I tried Avast Premium (even made an custom check with everything on) and MalwareBytes rootkit remover. I also have McAfee preinstalled on it, but its license expired long ago. Will try more sometime soon…

I’m wondering if there’s a hardware fault somewhere- Motherboard?
Have you checked the HDD for errors?

I already checked HDD with Avast Cleanup Premium, last time (recently) I did check it, I said it was OK. However, I haven’t checked it using /chkdsk command in Command Prompt. Will try that soon…

There appears to be problems with Chrome which is being reported on other forums. I would use a different browser until it is fixed.
The slowdown is affecting non Windows devices as well.
