Are there security Concerns With A Wireless mouse and with a wireless keyboard?

I realize this is probably a naive question as these devices have been around a long time but I’ve just started to use a wireless mouse (Logitech M705 marathon). It’s convenient but are there security concerns with it? I’m considering also adding a Logitech wireless keyboard so I’ll ask the same question about security concerns with it (this time before I buy one). These are for desktop computers at home.

The wireless signal is strictly between the wireless keyboard/mouse and the receiver that is connected to the MB, they have no internet connection and cannot infect your computer.

Thanks - but what about someone stealing the signal between the mouse or keyboard and computer and getting the keys pressed - e.g. passwords?

As per the above, if the hardware has no internet connection they cannot be used to access your computer remotely.

I suspect that you may be getting WiFi and wireless mixed up, WiFi relates to such things as wireless routers used to connect to the internet and wireless which is for connecting such things as wireless keyboards and mice but only locally.

One wireless device that can be connected to both a PC and the internet is a wireless printer, these however have to be configured to do so and do not connect automatically.

other differences are that both technologies use different spectrums of the radio bandwidth and your wireless keyboard/mouse only has a range of 10m tops.

rest easy - these devices are not a security threat. ???

yes - I suppose I am/was confused about wireless vs. WI-FI. Thank you Bruce and philpower2 for explaining it and that i don’t have to worry.
