I was wondering if anyone knows how to crack Truecrypt if the owner of the HDD is deceased that has potential criminal evidence of a missing person like Susan Powell ?

Its a WD Mybook External HD with Truecrypt 2009
Brute Force is taking awhile
Could they format the HDD and then attempt to read any deleted data with a recovery software pkg?
One of his passwords had 59 characters
It is suspected before he committed suicide that he accessed the drive and deleted info related to the password[/COLOR]
