    Total adblock

Hi guys, not sure if this is the correct place to ask this but here goes.
Can Total Adblock be trusted? Is it a good program?

Ublock Origin is all you need.

You can block ads across all of your devices if you set this on your router.

Looks like Total Adblock is 30 dollars a year…

      uBlock Origin is excellent.
I used to use Ghostery until they sold out and allowed ads from companies willing to pay to be put on the whitelist.
Raymond Hill had a massive following and industry standard name for the popular uBlock but had differences with his coding partner Chris and went out on his own with uBlock Origin

I am worried that you are hungry and need help too, but thanks very much. I joined up already. Very elaborate join and startup. Have to learn how to use it now. I will be back if I run into another problem.

since you have already joined, let Google be your friend and check out some reviews of the product.
my first site I found was this; https://au.trustpilot.com/review/totaladblock.com
go down to the eighth review.

I’d be double checking my credit card transactions if those reviews can be trusted.

I use AdGuard Premium on all my devices. They also have a browser guard for Edge as well as other browsers.

OK I took your advice and installed Ublock. But it installed something invasive called Github. Whatever that has to do with blocking ads.

I am unsure how it installed GitHub, that is where you download it from. In any case, you should be able to remove that easily. As GitHub is not invasive as you say. ???

I have uninstalled Adblock and never want to see it again. For $38 a year it isn’t worth it. I am looking at this Github thing. Is it worth exploring and keeping?

did you get uBlock or uBlock Origin - there’s a big difference!

I have no idea what you installed. Show me a screen shot of it…

I installed UBlock Origin from clicking on what you sent me yesterday Mal. But your site downloaded Github.
Check it out on Utube. What a load!

Strange, I removed Ublockorigin from my browser and re downloaded it from that link and Github did not install on my machine. I’d say just remove it.

As to what Bruce posted, this is all the bad reviews. Many people talk of theft. So…
