Hello, I am in the process of removing Kaspersky Free Home version from my PC. The people at the Kaspersky forum have requested a Get System Information report so they can help. I will be putting the ZIP file in a cloud server and sending a link to a moderator via private messgae. He suggested i put the ZIP in a password-protected ZIP, but I don’t know how to do that. Is there any risk in sending such a file like this? I do not feel very secure about sending it, but I guess that’s the only way I’ll be getting help, which I apparently need before using the “removal tool”. Advice appreciated. Thank you!
Is there any risk sending GSI report to Kaspersky?

First up remove kaspersky via the usual windows add remove program, or revo,
Then just go here and use the tool to remove what may be left.
Overview of settings and features available in a Kaspersky application and guides on how to use them.
Just keep it simple, you have been advised more than once before to backup your system, and even given instructions how to do it.Comment

Yes, i wanted to keep it simple, but the Kaspersky support portal forum has advised that I send a GSI report before using the removal tool. They insist that they must give me the go-ahead to use it. The windows uninstall does not work even slightly in this case. Is there something wrong with this picture or have I become paranoid? As for backing up my system, yes I am in the process of reviewing my options.Comment
