    forum feedback

I don’t see a thread topic for “forum feedback” anywhere or that I can find. This would be used to report any issues that one is having with the forum web page.

I have one: I’m not sure if this is a forum issue or a chrome issue. I’ve ruled it out to being a forum issue as this only happens when I use chrome. When I click on the “sign in” link and input my user name and password, in the user name field I have to click it twice in order for the input data to stay in the box. On any other browser I only have to click that field once to show user name.

Yes…but with most forums…the report tab is for reporting spammers and the like. I’ve never known a forum to use the report tab as feedback.

Bass is correct there is no section to post threads for Feed Back. Some place where users can post suggestion about the forum and or issues that they are having.

The Report Button on each post is to report the post not for a forum issue.

Do you have another system that has Chrome on it and do you have to click in the Username box twice?

If so what versions of Chrome and is this something that just started happening or that you just noticed?

Are you talking about the autofill dropdown box feature bassfisher? If so, that is a Chrome feature. I have to double click it myself to get it, and that’s on every website.

@ Rusty…I have seen the report button used very effectively as a do all report/feedback in several forums. Yes it may meant to be about just post maybe but turn into much more…just saying..

Interesting never seen or heard of of it used in that way.

I had to fire up Firefox.
Generally I use Palemoon and I’ve had a terrible time using this board the past 2 days.

I wanted to post in a thread - never see a place to type! It is extremely frustrating when you can’t post, respond to threads or even send a PM for help when there is no area to type in.

So if you see me grow silent, you’ll know I’m unable to do anything but view the board.
[ICODE]After seeing how FF worked, I fired up Palemoon again. It was still glitzy. In FF, I had all scripts off so I tried that in Palemoon and that appears to be the key to the board appearing properly and showing me a place to type a post. (I have everything in noscript blocked here).[/ICODE]

                    Hey plodr

To post requires Javascript enabled which noscript blocks. In fact our software relies on Javascript for a lot of functions, including posting, editing, and message sending.

Also we use a CDN, so JS files are pulled and fetched from the closest server to you. It’d be nice to whitelist us so that way our site functions for you as intended.

Not for me. When I have scripts blocked, I have a posting box.
When I allow scripts, the box is gone and no way can I reply to a thread.

I wanted to upload my screenshot to show you that noscript is working but when I go to attach, the board turns weird.

Not sure I can post the attachment.
