sadly no fireworks, just not done on Australia Day(or in general), plus it’s illegal and hard to source.
New Year Eve celebrations are about it, and each capital city has a river fire/sky fire sort of event.

Plenty of fireworks at Parramatta in Sydney, not sure this year but there are usually fireworks in Sydney harbour on Aussie day.

Ah yes, those bogans and derros have some sort of black market link to Fyshwick.
Actually, now you mention it, I did see the Parra firworks on the news that night, quite a big event it looked like.
none here that I knew of in Brissy. (maybe I’m just too old now and out of the loop)
