Good idea. However I can see some downsides.
I would like to see a rubber cushion on the adaptor that grips the sill seam.
If not on flat ground, and owner didn’t put on the handbrake, the car could easily slip forward, being metal on metal.
Also metal to metal would eventually remove what paint was on there, and rust eventually would start.

Yes that could be easily added I guess. The manufacturers don’t supply any padding for OE sill jacks either.

I don’t think the intent here is for the stands to replace any already in place safety standards. Probably more of a tradesman’s type tool. Blowed if I would use any type of jack stands on anything but flat ground

My first reaction and only real criticism is that the width the legs can be spread apart MUST be wide enough for the track of the jacks wheels. The one pictured only just fits so the use of any wider jack would not work. The legs could be manufactured to be further apart but of course would lower the weight carrying capacity.

I agree, Gus.If these are for sale to the general public, they have to be made more idiot proof.
Both you and I were mechanics for years, and can readily see any short comings.

They will no doubt improve the design over time.
