Do Not Call is broken

The Federal Trade Commission is in charge of the “Do Not Call Registry”, but the FTC’s own website acknowledges they no longer investigate individual complaints.

“Due to the volume of complaints, the FTC cannot respond directly to every complaint. The FTC and other law enforcement agencies analyze complaints to spot trends and to identify and take action against the people responsible for these illegal calls,” according to the FTC website.

My only reservation, if you damaged a Scammer’s eardrum, could they bring a lawsuit against you.
Not sure of the Legalities.
