    Port forwarding not working

Hello all, been a while since I’ve needed your assistance!

I’m trying to forward port 7777 for an Ark Survival Ascended dedicated server. Server was previously working then suddenly not working with no known changes other than a power outage which caused power loss on the modem and router, but not my PC (on a UPS).

But before we get to game specific stuff, lets talk about canyouseeme.org and other online port checking tools.

It’s my understanding that port 80 should be able to be seen here? No devices on my network are able to be seen with this port.

I cannot get ANY ports to be seen there. I have a public IP address that matches whatsmyip to my router WAN IP. 47.***.***.xx I even called my ISP (Spectrum) to verify that they aren’t blocking any ports and that I have a public IP address. They confirmed the IP address is public and they do not block anything.

I believe this is where my issue is. I have a Netgear Nighthawk RAX45 router. I have UDP internal and external port forwarding for 7777 enabled for my PC’s static IP on my router.
Have inbound firewall rule set for same port UDP in windows firewall. Do not have any other antivirus software or firewall software - just what comes with Windows 11. I have even tried it with the firewall entirely off. I really think my issue is with my router, but I am not sure how to proceed.

Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!

Port 80 is used for HTTP. Try looking at 443 which uses SSL/TLS (HTTPS).
    Try UDP and TCP.

For instance, canyouseeme.org uses the HTTP (less secure) protocol and on my PC Chrome blocks it.

I have a tool called Nmap that I can use to scan your IP. All I will try to determine are; what ports are blocked and possibly what’s blocking them. It will not serve up any personal info, or give any kind of access to your PC, but only what I have described.

Since it was working. Have you tried the basic.
Power off modem, router and computer. Wait 30 seconds
Power on modem and wait for internet. Power on router. Power on computer.
Check static ip of computer is correct.
I know a static should not change but it is worth checking that the config is pointing to the correct computer ip.
