    Help with Laptop wifi

Please help me with my laptop’s wifi, I recently formatted my laptop and it works okay at first, but when I restarted it doesn’t show any network connection even if I turned it on.

I tried disabling-enabling adapter, updating driver, I also checked BIOS, physical switch also not working. It is the first time that this happened. I have formatted this laptop many times before but there’s no issue. I wonder what went wrong. My laptop’s model is Lenovo B570 (Yeah I know that it’s very old but its still working and I can’t afford to upgrade yet ). I have CleanOS windows 10 and Windows 7. I hope someone can help me. Thanks in advance.

Sorry but you have post on a tech forum asking for help but have provided zero information about your computer or it`s hardware, this makes it impossible for anyone to even hazard a guess as to what is going on.

Can you provide the model name or series number of the notebook and if it is a Dell the tag number as well.

Apologies for the delay getting back to you.

Are you saying that you don`t know what brand the notebook is, I ask because that is real basic stuff as in the name will normally stamped on the lid and will be something like Acer, Dell or HP, the model name or number will be on an information label on the base of the notebook.

Without having the requested information makes it impossible for anyone to be able to help.

So at about 13 years old, that Lenovo B570 may simply be dying.

But let’s try a few things, have you gone to the drivers support page here; laptops and netbooks :: lenovo b series laptops :: lenovo b570 notebookcontentdetail - Lenovo Support AU

They have no Win10 drivers, the Win7 versions may work but you’ll have to find out the hard way first. Otherwise you’re stuck with Win7 as your OS.
Try the wireless drivers, and also the ethernet ones.
Try getting either adapters to connect.

If you are using CleanOS 10, that may have al sorts of stuff removed, and stuff added.
          User beware I guess.
