I would like to have someone tell me which βthreadβ I should go to. I want to connect by desktop (old with no WiFi connection) to a TV that runs on WiFi.
No, I have a folder in my Desktop computer that contains photos that I would like to show on my TV. The TV has Roku attached to provide WiFi for use with Comcast for viewing TV. I only need to have the connection on occasions when I want to show the photos to family gatherings. If I unplug Roku and attach an HTMI cord from my PC to the TV will that make it possible to view the photos on the TV
Yes you can attach via hdmi
No need to unplug roku if the tv has more than 1 hdmi port
Turn both off
Connect via hdmi
Turn Laptop on
Turn TV on
Make sure tv input is set to correct hdmi
