    Wifi problems

Hi. I have a Panasonic toughbook tablet that I am having trouble connecting to WiFi. It is running Windows 7 64bit. I can connect fine at my home WiFi with no issues. When I try to connect at my work WiFi the tablet does not ask for a password and trys to connect to the selected network but then fails. This tablet has never been connected before to this WiFi before. I can connect other devices to the work WiFi with no issues. I have tried resetting the wireless drivers so it forgets all networks but still does not ask for the WiFi password. I have also tried to connect to the WiFi manually copying settings from another win7 laptop. Any help would be appreciated thanks

the other devices you have successfully connected to the work wifi, are they yours or the companies?
I’m wondering if the work IT guy has implemented a β€˜whitelist’ of known devices or is using MAC filtering or has reserved IP adresses or even the wifi network has run out of pool addresses.

This is something that you will have to discuss with the people that are in-charge of the work network. Due to legal issue we can not assist.
