    Complete system specs?

    What have you tried?

Have you tried resetting the network?

    When did this start happening?

My laptop is acer aspire5, running windows 10 and linux mint, i tried resetting router, the ethernet switch, my pc, tried in linux, windows, on raspberry pi, i’ve never used ethernet before but now i need it for my raspberry pi, i crimped the connectors myself and checked multiple times if they were ok, i will try to connect the ethernet cable to the ethernet ports of the router and see if this makes a difference

Eliminate the switch and route go directly to the modem.

Are the system using static and or Dynamic IP address?

Is the network on any type of Domain?

Does this happen on any other network or just this one?
        Hot spots and or friends

What changes were made to any part of the network and or the system prior to this happening?

I tried connecting the ethernet cable to my router ethernet outputs and it works normally, so the problem is probably in the converter, i send an email to my isp if they know what’s wrong, since they installed and gave me this converter, my router is tplink tl-wr740n, the converter is isn’t marked, probably the isp bought it from some company that makes them, so i basically just have this converter from optical signals to internet which my isp installed and router, i have dynamic ip, i open some ports for port forwarding and set dynamic dns on my router, i will reply with what the isp says
