unable to connect to my WiFi ethernet connection

First I was under the impression that I had opened this thread am today but cannot it anywhere? So if I have posted twice I apologies.

Due to innumerable problems with my PC I was forced to do a factory full clean reset, this went well until I attempted to connect via my WiFi Ethernet to access the internet and discovered I was unable to do so.
My Device manager shows that both Ethernet Lan connections require drivers.
I carried out a driver search but no joy.

I’m contacting you via my daughters Win10 laptop, so although I was able to access the ACER site and all the drivers were available. I was unable to download to disc as this laptop does not have a CD/DVD drive, so instead I downloaded them to a memory stick. then downloaded them onto my Win 7 PC but still a driver sear ch fails to find them or is unable to recognise them due to differences between win 7 and win 10?

I also opened up networking connections and clicked on connect to Broadband etc,but no WiFi stations of any kind was shown…can the Forum please advise how I can access my WiFi …Thank you

All you should have to do is right click on the files that you downloaded and select Run As Admin.

The files that you down loaded should be executable files and directly ran.

Thanks for replying…I’m not quite certain what files you are referring to as other than the reset files there were no networking or Ethernet controller files available. Device manager shows them as inoperable as no drivers available,
The files I downloaded via my daughters win 10 laptop are not recognised…or is that the files you are referring to?
I am on the Acer driver page at the moment, the drivers available are Wireless Lan DRIVER and Lan driver, do I require both these drivers/

At the moment my PC (Acer win 7) is not picking up any networking station at all, whereas beside my own it would normally indicate at least six to seven in my area, could there be something else that I am missing?

Could I download from one PC to the other by USB/

        1. Why not use the recovery partition to preform a factory restore?
        2. How did you install Windows 7?
What is the specific make and model

Do you know which Driver(s) that you need for the hardware that is in your system?

According to this that is what you have done.

because stupidly I forgot about that option!!!My day to feel a prat…Installation was via a Microsoft purchased disc which uses my activation key and worked a treat. But Network control controller and Ethernet controller are yellow marked in device manager indicating driver required. If I open networking and attempt to connect to my WiFi nothing is shown?
          PC is Acer M3910

Due to the fact there are no drives installed.

You downloaded the Drivers form the Acer site to the Windows 10 system and used a USB drive to put them onto the Windows 7 system?
This does have and Intel processor right?
Download and install in the listed order.
            Chipset Driver
            SATA AHCI Driver
            LAN Driver
            Wireless LAN Driver
            Audio Driver

Holding off on the Video Drives since there are 4 listed until we get the results from the following link below

On the top of the download page it has
            Did you Know?
You can download Acer Software to detect your hardware and choose the right drivers
Download and transfer to the Windows 7 systems desktop.
