    Mobil internet sharing problem

I’m trying to use my phone internet connection on my laptop using the internet sharing option and it connects fine but doesn’t connect to the Internet. It comes up saying that the DNS is unavailable. There’s no problem internet sharing from another phone, so it’s not the laptop

Some services may not allow you to do that unless you have that service on your plan. May need to check with your provider to make sure that you are able to.

One other thing to add unless you have an unlimited plan would never suggest that you do this since the data would probaly be used by the time you visited the first page.

You can run the command below from command prompt to get the information requested above.

            ipconfig /all >> c:\users%username%\desktop\results.txt

I should be able to do it. I looked on my service provider website and they have page telling you how to do it. As for the data usage that all depends on your network provider

Can you post the log as text rather than a picture please. Also, have you tried PDAnet?

                      1. brand of working phone and version of android 2. Cellphone provider.

Then brand and version of android on your non-working phone.
                      Your cellphone provider.

Just close it. The OP was on March 6th and I assume chose not to answer any of the questions asked, because he.she didn’t post.
