IPCONFIG gives disconnected media, can only connect wired

Just recently I have been having connection issues, at first it would stay connected for 2-5 minutes and then kick me off, and now i cannot even connect to my router wirelessly. I can however connect with a wired connection. Is my router going bad? Or is the network adapter card that I have in my PC bad?
