Network supplying internet to one PC But not the other

Hey guys,
Prior to installing (and subsequently UN-installing) a new / “upgraded” modem, I had my two desktop PC’s, my home CCTV, and multiple Wi-Fi devices connected to my modem(s) without any dramas.

Since attempting to upgrade my modem, I am unable to connect any (wireless) devices consistently; constantly having to manually assign static IP’s and DNS servers rather than allow them to auto-assign.
I am also having issues with my desktop PC’s - My main computer is connected and working fine, however my daughters desktop, also running through the same switch as mine is, refuses to connect to the internet.
Also with my main desktop PC I am unable to talk to my local router (192.168.1.1) and only directly to the ISP Router (192.168.0.1). If i disconnect from the ISP Router, I can speak with the local one.

I have done FULL hard-resets of all modems and phones/tablets/laptops, forgotten and re-connected to networks etc… yet this problem will NOT go away!

Did you check with your ISP to ensure this Modem is compatible with their service, prior to purchasing it?

Can you post the make and model of your Modem and Router, also tell us what ISP you have service with.

Do you have a common antivirus – firewall on each machine in your home?

And on your main PC, can you run Minitoolbox for us. Also, run it on one of the machines that is unable to connect.

Will followup your suggestion(s) shortly Mal - It was working perfectly until i tried out the other modem - I am back to my original set-up now which had been working fine for ~3yrs since I installed it all - Only after attempting a change has these issues occurred

Seems that you may want a refund with for the new Modem. As further research only yielded negative reviews for it…

The new modem is already gone & refunded - The sagemcom F@st & TPLINK TD-w8970 HAD been working for 3 yrs+ and that’s what i’m back with.

No - I’m having these issues with what WAS working for 3+yrs - The issues only came around once I attempted to change routers.
ISP is OPTUS - Using their suppliied Sagemcom F@st3864
MY Router (pluygged into the ISP one) is a TPLINK TD-W8970
Have ran MTB On the main PC - Will get to another PC in the morning when i knock off (shift work is sucking my time!)

So I went through that as much as I could but ran into the following issues, and still have limited connectivity on the second PC.

Step 1C) Unable - Multimedia / Gaming Environment not shown
Step 4) uBlock Origin - Ignored as I do not have the connection to download the addon.
DNS Bench not working as no internet access able to be verified
DNS Jumper not attempted for the same reason
Step 6 - Irrelevant as no connection so testmy doesn’t work.

EDIT::: Scrap that - I managed to fix it assigning a static IP again - For some reason it wasn’t working before when doing this, but now it is!

Still wish I knew why auto-assigning is causing so much issues though - for any device I try to connect, have never had to assign static IP’s before.
