    Computer won't connect to Internet and displays "IP Helper Service Not Running"

    I’m helping my neighbor with her computer right now, and she couldn’t connect to the Internet even though mobile devices and other computers in her house are getting full speed Internet. I went to the network diagnostics thing, and it said β€œIP Helper Service Not running” so I went to services.msc and restarted IP Helper… also I changed the thing from manual to automatic in the drop down menu. I’m restarting the PC now, but if it doesn’t work, what do you recommend?

      Please download MiniToolBox and save it to your desktop. Run the program by right clicking on it and selecting Run as administrator. When the program opens select the following boxes:

      Flush DNS
      Report IE Proxy Settings
      Reset IE Proxy Settings
      Report FF Proxy Settings
      Reset FF Proxy Settings
      List content of Hosts
      List IP Configuration
      List Winsock Entries
      List last 10 Event Viewer Errors
      List Installed Programs
      List Devices (Only Problems)
      List Users, Partitions and Memory size

      Please post the log in your next reply Since it won’t connect, you can copy it over via Thumb Drive and post it here. That way we can get a better idea of what’s going on with the machine

                      That didn’t work. I got excited because when i logged back in after rebooting, I heard the noise that Outlook makes when you get a new email. But when I tried to go to google.com, I got the classic old β€œThere is no Internet connection.”
