Recently Iβve been trying to get my camera to work on Skype with no avail. In the Logitech Camera software, the camera seems to work fine: no lagging, freezing, or crashing. However, when I try to use it with Skype or any other program where it has to send it to the internet, I get lag as well as freezing, with the camera sometimes not working at all when it comes to Skype.
Here is my ping, download speed, and upload speed:
And here are my PC specs:
The type of camera I have is a Logitech HD Webcam C310 ( ). The current software Iβm using is the Logitech Webcam Software, here: . If there is a different software I should be using, please let me know.
I have tried using previous versions of Skype as well, though I feel like it might be a problem it sending the video to the internet. I would appreciate any help. I donβt mind if I have to lower the video quality to get rid of lag, as long as there is little to no lag Iβll be happy. At this point I think itβs either a network speed issue or an issue with the software. Again, any help is appreciated. Thank you.
