Hello there,
Over the weekend my connection to online games dropped dramatically. Everything else (youtube, downloads, streams, webpages, etc.) works just as it used to. So far I have tried
[ul]
[li]Updating drivers[/li][li]Clearing cookies/cache[/li][li]Giving said games exceptions through my firewall[/li][li]Closing other background programs that could be taking data[/li][li]Using task manager to try and find any programs "stealth’ stealing my bandwith[/li][li]Playing a different times of day to see if it was an issue with other people in the house[/li][li]Resetting the modem+router[/li][li]Disabling windows peer-to-peer sharing[/li][/ul]
but none of it has worked. Now I am on Wi-Fi, and am switching to wired sometime in the future but the reason I don’t think that is the issue is because I’ve played with absolutely no ping issues for the past few months on Wi-Fi, this all just started a few days ago.
