Need Help To Update Recovery Email In Outlook

I am doing some digital housekeeping and trying to update the recovery email for the 3 Outlook email accounts that I have. I have the web based email accounts not the full blown Outlook accounts.

The problem I am is that I cannot get a clear set of directions that will show me how to do this. Apparently the steps have changed over time and no one at Microsoft has taken the time to clean up and update the steps. When I do a search on ‘Update recovery EMail’ the steps look nothing like what is actually in the ‘Accounts’ or ‘Profile’ tab of the web based Outlook email that I am using.

I would really appreciate it if someone would please provide me with the up to date and accurate steps to update and if necessary change my recovery emails. Thank you.

I saw this and I don’t really use outlookmail.
Try
Sign in to outlook on a browser.
On the left hand side click on Security
On the right hand side click on Manage how I sign in
If you do not see security on the left hand side then on the top it will have security.

I have attached a pic BUT when I save the picture disappears :unsure:
