I bought this machine - did I do right?

I am older (so go easy on me, lol) and mostly only use the computer for surfing, Facebook and Youtube, plus I write novels. I don’t ever do any gaming or anything like art. I ordered an HP Pavilion TP01 with Windows 11 Home today. Not thrilled about Windows 11, as I’ve heard negative things about it, but it is what it is. I am NOT computer savvy, but what do you think of this, and if it’ll work for me?

I have questions about Word 365 and transferring my work from old to new computer, but I’ll save that for another post. TIA!

That’s an excellent PC for its use you stated.

If you are simply transferring Word files you can move them to a USB drive and from there move them to the location of choice on the new PC.
You can upload them to Onedrive or Google Drive and access them anywhere in the world with an internet connection.
