Why is my Gmail "open" in 1 other location?

How come everytime I log into my Gmail account, the bottom right of the screen has the words β€œOpen in 1 other location?”

Many Gmail users have already asked this question on the net and they keep getting told that their mobile phones are on and that they are logged in with their email/Gmail address. They then insist that they are not logged in at all. Is someone viewing what I have in my email from another location?

When you select Details what does it inform you of?

    May or may not work.
On the google page that is for that account click the image
    Select Manage your Account
On the left side select Security

Look under Recent Security Activity and the scroll down to Your Devices
This will show where, when and what is logged into your account.
You can also do a Sign out form that device from there as well.

What do you use to access you GMail
    App
    Program
    Webpage

Fortunately it only shows a single β€œYour current session” (my current log-in).

The program is Firefox and the Webpage is Google. I usually click on the Firefox logo on my Desktop and then once open, I key in the search words in the Google bar.

Does it do this if you use a different browser?

Have you cleared the cookies and cache?

The β€œbutton” which says β€˜Manage third-party access’ isn’t visible. Google might have taken the option away.

Look under Signing in to other sites
Look under Signing in with Google
(where I found it to be for mine)

Nothing suspicious when I checked the log ins. So I’ll just tolerate the message as a small annoyance. Rustys, thank you for the assistance.

Oh sorry, before this thread is closed, can I ask a question to other Gmail users;do you all also get that same message and what is your response to it?

You would have to start another thread asking that.

Oh…I overlooked the questions. I used another browser, result was the same. I also cleared the cookies and cache and the bottom right still showed that message.

                              No worries

Made sure that you were signed out on every other system?

You can also log all of them out through Your Devices
