I'm having trouble with devices losing internet access in my home.

I have optical fiber that goes to huawei echolife hg8010h and then to D-link DIR-825.

Around 2 weeks ago my PC started to lose connection (wrong DNS or just no connection at all) now and then. Now it’s few times a day and other devices are losing connection too (TV, phones).

Turning on and off works but doesn’t help in the long run (tried this with devices and router). I had reset router to default settings and updated it through build-in feature but nothing more.

    And ideas would be good

first up, need to isolate whether the fault is with the Dlink or the Huawei.
plug a PC into and optic box and see if it still drops-out.

are any devices connected via ethernet cable to the Dlink, or is everything wireless?

      Okay, gonna try it.
PC is via cable, everything else is wifi.

OK, so at this stage it could be a Dlink issue.
        time will tell.
