Whenever I send an email in Thunderbird and it is intended for an addressee named “Sharon” (there’s more than one in my address book), the first in the “recommended” list is NOT the one I want, and, to be honest, I don’t even know how it got into the address book. I’ve since removed the address from the address book, but I can’t get it out of the “recommended” list. And since it’s first, it’s the one that automatically goes in as the addressee if I forget. How do I get it out of the “recommended” list?

When I start typing the name, a list of four names appears. The first of the list, the one I want to get rid of, will automatically be entered as the addressee If I don’t do anything. If I select another, that will be the one that appears as the addressee. The second on in the list is the one I usually want to use, but I have to specifically select it. If, somehow, I could get rid of the first one, the second would then be at the top of the list, and be the automatic selection.
BTW, I don’t see an ‘x’ anywhere.Comment
