Slow internet after power out

Hi, my desktop internet connection has been running slow or wont connect at all. The power randomly went out one day and after it cut back on only my desktop barley connects. Mine and my dads laptop connects and two speed test say they’re β€œvery fast” but the desktop is the only one that runs slow. I’ve looked and tried update the network drive, change the DNS, restart router, restart pc, changed the ethernet cable but none worked and every other site says the same thing.

Why did the power go out?

Download MiniToolBox and save the file to the Desktop.

Close the browser and run the tool, check the following options;

Put Checkmark in the box to the left of Select All

Click Go

This will create a file called MTB.txt on the desktop.

Please COPY and PASTE the results in your next post.

Run the Minitoolbox after the reset.

If windows 10 did you run the Windows Reset tool?

Reset the network on the system

Open Settings
Click on Network & Internet
Click on Status
Click on Network reset
Click the Reset now button
Click Yes to confirm and let your computer restart

It may take a few extra time for the system to completely reboot since it is rebuilding the network then try the network and let us know.
