Open link to website is always loaded 2 times in browser

Hello,

When I click in the email program Thunderbird in a message on a link to a website, it is always loaded 2 times in my browser (Brave)

How can I fix this and make sure it only happens once ?

I already tried the following instructions but they didn’t solve the problem clicking a link in an email opens link twice. (Opera Browser) | Thunderbird Support Forum | Mozilla Support

Are you double clicking on the links in the email?
