WiFi cutting out randomly on PC only

Hi there. The WiFi on my PC keeps cutting out randomly and I’ve no idea why. It’s only the PC that this happens on my other devices are fine. I got a second monitor today. I wouldn’t imagine that would affect it but I’m not sure. I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling my adapters and still having the same issue. Any guidance much appreciated.

Hmm turns out when I only use one monitor it is fine. Very strange. Too many peripherals in my PC?

I think it’s the display port cable that’s making me disconnect from the internet now. When I use the hdmi cable it is fine but the display port one makes me lag out.

if you have verified it is the cable at fault, try getting a better quality one, even a shielded one if they exist.
or as a quick hack, try running that cable as far away from the wifi as possible - or even wrapping it in aluminium foil.

Ive used a different cable and it seems to be working fine now. Who would’ve thought a dodgy display port cable would make my internet disconnect?! Very weird and doesn’t make much sense. Thank you for the reply.

that cable must have been pumping out enough EMP waves to disrupt the wifi signal.
