    Internet + Windows 10 Question...

Hi there guys, I hope youΒ΄re all doing great today!

    This is my question.

I live in a country with one of the worst internet connections in the world. In my house, we have a wifi connection. My bread and butter is the internet, I work as a freelancer online and need to stay connected all the time to reply ASAP to my clients.

But, most of my family come here to take advantage of my internet because I am one of the few in my neighborhood that has wifi.

I donΒ΄t want to be a **** and just block everybody out but I do want to block the access to a certain % of my wifi.

LetΒ΄s say I want my PC to get 75% of the broadband and just leave the other 25% for everybody else.

Is this possible? And, if so, how can I achieve this?

    Cheers!

not something I’ve seen on home-grade hardware.
something usually reserved for the business/enterprise end of town modems/router/access points.

it will all depend on the make/model of WAP (wireless access point) you use and some online researching should help you there.
I’d be starting my search with the Unifi range WAP’s and switches by Ubiquiti.
