Computer disconnecting from the Internet frequently (Might be fixed)

Hi. Starting about 3 weeks ago my computer just started losing connection to the Internet every 30 minutes or so. It is just an issue with my PC. When it happens I check my phone to see if I’m still connected and everything works fine on there, and I spend a few hours on my Xbox with no connection issues, but my computer still disconnects every 30 minutes or so. The time between disconnects is getting shorter and the time it takes to reconnect is getting longer. Any help is greatly appreciated because I really can’t even seem to sit in a full game of most online games anymore, and it’s only getting worse.

A couple things I have tried already that haven’t worked:
• Setting the option to not allow the Internet to shut itself off to save power
• Uninstalling my adapter so the computer has to reinstall and reconfigure the drivers
• Typing netsh int ip reset reset.log into the command prompt and restarting the PC
• Any other fixes I try that won’t work will be put here

I am using a desktop if that changes anything. Any other information can be given if needed just ask.
I have also reset my router and let my computer sit while off multiple times, both of which seems to not fix anything.
Any help is greatly appreciated and thank you ahead of time for anyone who can help me resolve this issue.

VARIOUS INFORMATION
OS - Windows 10
ISP - Charter/Spectrum

Can you connect via a cable and does the same happen?

Which operating system are you running?

Is this a WiFi card that is installed in the desktop have you tried to reseat it and try?

Have you tried to see if the same thing happens in Safe Mode with Networking?

The router is in a different room and we don’t have a cord that will reach into mine

I am running Windows 10

I bought the PC premade so I am not exactly sure

How do I get to safe mode?

Also, while starting the system in safe mode, am I still able to access online games? The issue is noticeable slightly on some browser things, but it seems to happen more while playing games such as Overwatch, and it would be much easier to see if safe mode does anything if I am still able to access games.

If the computer still has any warranty contact them some things we can have you do could VOID it.

Try Safe Mode and see if that makes a difference link provided on Post # 6.

Have you also tried to reset the network settings?

Use network reset to reinstall network devices (Found here).

[li]Select the Start button, then select Settings > Network & Internet > Status > Network reset. [/li][li]On the Network reset screen, select Reset now > Yes to confirm. [/li]Wait for your PC to restart and see if that fixes the problem.

Reinstalling the network devices seemed to have fixed it. I will leave this post open for a couple more days just in case it still happens, but it’s been nearly an hour and connection has not been lost.

Thanks for helping. I’ll change the post up a bit and if it keeps happening I’ll be back. If not, I’ll set this as fixed in a couple days.
